This
set of dingbats began with just a few symbols
such as the CIRCLE-P. Then, Texas
Monthly magazine
asked me to create a TEXAS dingbat for them.
They still use this dingbat at the
end of every story. Then, as a promotion
for Schweers Typesetting (my business from
long ago when typesetters still existed),
the other symbols were added, many of which
were drawn by Laura Latimer.
