 Charcoal Pit, Wilmington, Delaware, Crouton Stacking
I, Danny N. Schweers, claim to be the record holder of the most croutons stacked one on top of another at The Charcoal Pit restaurant on 202 in Wilmington, Delaware
18 croutons were stacked on October 24, 2010, at 7:33 p.m. in front of three witnesses. The croutons were dry. There was no salad dressing or ketcup used to mortar them together.
The restaurant serves great burgers, salads, and ice cream. My family and I eat there often, but usually don't eat the croutons. Rather than waste them, we build.
Photographers are especially good at crouton stacking because they've learned to keep their hands steady while taking photos at 1/15 and 1/8 of a second.
