I joined Barbara and our friend Mary one evening to witness one of the stupidest events in Austin history. A hundred women of various ages sat in chairs. Every now and then, one would stand up and make faces. Sometimes they would actually sream something! Some people, I am sure, found it sublime. Me, I spent my time enjoying the crowd, the beautiful setting and the clear sky.
